What We Do

We host two large events each year coupled with several educational events. We have our ANNUAL CONVENTION in March and our FALL SHOW in late November or early December.

MSRBA ANNUAL CONVENTION

Our Annual Convention is always held on the first weekend of ANR Week at Michigan State University. For 2019 we will have a double open and youth all breed show on Saturday. Youth show in the morning when the open have their annual membership meeting. Youth membership meeting is in the afternoon. On Sunday we will have a double open all breed show and a single youth all breed show.

rABBIT sCHOOL/JUDGES CONfERENCE

Each year on Friday evening of our Annual Convention we have an educational seminar. on the even numbered years it is a Judges Conference and on the odd numbered years we have our  Rabbit School.

MSRBA FALL SHOW

Usually held on Thanksgiving weekend however can move to December. We have a double all breed show on Saturday and a single all breed show on Sunday. For the Sunday Show, the open will show in the morning so that the Michigan State Rabbit & Cavy Breeders Youth Association (MSRBYA) can have their quarterly meeting. The youth show will start following the open show.

MSRBA was organized in the early 1900's and became incorporated on September 27, 1941. Michigan has hosted 3 ARBA National Conventions and numerous National Specialty Shows.
