The weekends festivities gets started on Friday with our annual Rabbit school. There will be plenty of topics being discussed by some of our distinguished judges that will also be judging your beautiful rabbits on Saturday and Sunday. We will once again be running Show A and part of Show B on Saturday, and then on Sunday we will be finishing up B and running Show C. At the conclusion of showing on Saturday we will be having our annual awards banquet at the Okemos Conference Center. Information and a reservation form are available in this catalog. Please plan on attending this wonderful event. You will be able to see our youth receive there sweepstakes and royalty awards that they have worked all year to win.  We proudly dedicate our 2018 MSRBA Convention to long standing member: Jane Burt Jane has been a member of MSRBA since 1984. She started raising and showing rabbits like a lot of other MSRBA members, when her son Chad, joined 4-H in the rabbit project. Jane has raised Dutch, her first breed, also English Spots, Palaminos, Havanas, Silvers and, at present, Florida Whites. She spent 25 years as a 4-H fair superintendent, 30 years as a 4-H leader, and several years on the local fair board. Jane has been a member of the State 4-H Rabbit Show Committee for many years, and is currently a State Rabbit Resource Leader. She still judges local fairs and hosts clinics for 4-H rabbit club members. When it comes to MSRBA, Jane can always be counted on to help in any and every aspect! She has been on the following committees: Constitution 1988-91, Advertising, Co-Chair of the Summer Workshops, Banquet Chairperson 1988-91, Show Secretary on the State Convention, Fall Shows and Specialty Shows, Show Superintendent for Fall Show and Quad Show, Editor of the MSRBA News 2004-2017, Webmaster 2011-present, and is currently on the Master Breeder Committee and a Board member of MSRBA. Jane has held various offices in the MSRBA, including Vice President in 1991, President from 1992-93, 1996-2003, 2008-2013. She received the Editors Award in 1991, Dean Daglow Good Guy Award 1991, Youth to Adult Award in 1992, Master Breeder Award in 1998 and Distinguished Service Award in 2013. Along with being recognized for all her work in MSRBA, Jane has also been recognized by the American Rabbit Breeders Association. She is life member of the ARBA and received the ARBA President's Award in 2007 and the ARBA Distinguished Service Award in 2010. Jane was one of the founding officers of the Michigan Dutch Rabbit Club and the Michigan Florida White Rabbit Club. She can always be found helping to set up and tear down MSRBA shows, working behind the secretary tables, or lending a helping hand at the Judges Conference or Rabbit School. Her latest passion is photography, and she is generous in sharing her talent with the MSRBA by taking hundreds of pictures at our shows and events.  Welcome fellow Rabbit and Cavy exhibitors. The 76th MSRBA Convention is quickly approaching us. Our wonderful youth program has given us the theme of “A Daydream in 2018”. The weekends festivities gets started on Friday with our annual Rabbit school. There will be plenty of topics being discussed by some of our distinguished judges that will also be judging your beautiful rabbits on Saturday and Sunday. We will once again be running Show A and part of Show B on Saturday, and then on Sunday we will be finishing up B and running Show C. At the conclusion of showing on Saturday we will be having our annual awards banquet at the Okemos Conference Center. Information and a reservation form are available in this catalog. Please plan on attending this wonderful event. You will be able to see our youth receive there sweepstakes and royalty awards that they have worked all year to win. The open members will also be receiving their sweepstakes awards also. Other awards will be handed out as well. Our host hotel is once again the Holiday Inn Express in Okemos. 2018 Convention Dedication
 We proudly dedicate our 2018 MSRBA Convention to long standing member: Jane Burt Jane has been a member of MSRBA since 1984. She started raising and showing rabbits like a lot of other MSRBA members, when her son Chad, joined 4-H in the rabbit project. Jane has raised Dutch, her first breed, also English Spots, Palaminos, Havanas, Silvers and, at present, Florida Whites. She spent 25 years as a 4-H fair superintendent, 30 years as a 4-H leader, and several years on the local fair board. Jane has been a member of the State 4-H Rabbit Show Committee for many years, and is currently a State Rabbit Resource Leader. She still judges local fairs and hosts clinics for 4-H rabbit club members. When it comes to MSRBA, Jane can always be counted on to help in any and every aspect! She has been on the following committees: Constitution 1988-91, Advertising, Co-Chair of the Summer Workshops, Banquet Chairperson 1988-91, Show Secretary on the State Convention, Fall Shows and Specialty Shows, Show Superintendent for Fall Show and Quad Show, Editor of the MSRBA News 2004-2017, Webmaster 2011-present, and is currently on the Master Breeder Committee and a Board member of MSRBA. Jane has held various offices in the MSRBA, including Vice President in 1991, President from 1992-93, 1996-2003, 2008-2013. She received the Editors Award in 1991, Dean Daglow Good Guy Award 1991, Youth to Adult Award in 1992, Master Breeder Award in 1998 and Distinguished Service Award in 2013. Along with being recognized for all her work in MSRBA, Jane has also been recognized by the American Rabbit Breeders Association. She is life member of the ARBA and received the ARBA President's Award in 2007 and the ARBA Distinguished Service Award in 2010. Jane was one of the founding officers of the Michigan Dutch Rabbit Club and the Michigan Florida White Rabbit Club. She can always be found helping to set up and tear down MSRBA shows, working behind the secretary tables, or lending a helping hand at the Judges Conference or Rabbit School. Her latest passion is photography, and she is generous in sharing her talent with the MSRBA by taking hundreds of pictures at our shows and events. This volunteer effort by Jane is appreciated and enjoyed by many of our members. Jane Burt has been a loyal member of the MSRBA for 34 years and one of its biggest supporters. She has always had the club's wellbeing first and foremost in her heart and for that reason is without a doubt deserving of having the 2018 MSRBA Convention dedicated to her.
